Standard of Conduct:
Students will seek to "be imitators of God" with "not even a hint of sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity," living as "children of light" and finding out "what pleases the Lord" (Ephesians 5:1-12). This standard governs our personal and public life. Dating:
There is no general restriction on dating/courting. However, students are required to maintain the highest standards of purity and integrity.
Discipline of Students:
The freedom of the BSSM-C environment requires a high level of self-management. Any student struggling to make wise choices will receive quick and direct confrontation, which is designed to help draw out the greatness within the student. Our staff and pastoral teams are trained and empowered to infuse strength and grace into whatever area is necessary in a student’s life.
Attendance:
Students are expected to attend classes regularly and punctually. The maximum number of absences allowed during each semester is 8. The total number of absences allowed for the entire year is 16. Exceptions to this policy will be made only for extreme circumstances and emergencies. If a student's absences and tardies total more than 16 days a school year, it is likely that the student will not receive a Certificate of Completion and will potentially be asked to leave the school.
